Folder to Folder If you wish to exchange links, or know of a good link that should be on this page, please let me know.
Incredible Folding Links Here is my growing list of useful links on folding bikes. Bike Forums - A plethora of first-person information on bikes and biking; a separate section on folding bikes. The Folding Society (British site) - Lots of information on folders, with a British twist; very good bike reviews. A to B Magazine (British site) - Tons of information, especially if you know nothing about folding bikes but have a hunger to learn about 'em. Strong British focus which can be annoying for riders on the other side of the pond. Amtrak bike policy - You'll want to look at this if you want to take your bike on an Amtrak train. (You should try it at least once.) Folding Bike Buyer's Guide
(British site) - The reviews are subjective (what review isn't?) but at
least it gets you familiar with the major brands of folders. The Folding Bike Solution - An intro to folding bikes; brief description of major brands. Wikipedia - Folding Bicycles - A good starting point for folding neophites. "Know When to Fold 'Em" - TIME Magazine article on folders. BikesthatFold.com - I think this is a European site. Anyway, it has some interesting articles on folders.
Biking-in-General Links Bicycle Friendly Cities - I like this list of bike friendly cities, maybe because my hometown is number 1! Shelton Brown's Bicycle Technical Info - Stumped on some technical issue? Go to this site! This guy is a fountain of knowledge. Trailink.com (Rails-to-Trails Conservency) - Fabulous site! Go here to find a railroad line near you that has been converted to a bike trail. |
